Leptastrea Corals

Leptastrea are a beginner-friendly encrusting stony coral that come in a variety of colors. Unlike many corals that are visually similar such as Pavona or Leptoseris, these corals are relatively slow growing. For this reason Leptastrea make a good addition to smaller tanks and nano reefs looking for this kind of encrusting aesthetic but are worried about rampant growth that takes over an aquascape.
