Orange Ball Corallimorphs

Pseudocorynactis corallimorphs are frequently called Orange Ball Anemones despite not being anemones at all. They are actually a type of rare predatory mushroom that has many unique characteristics. First off, they are very sticky and highly aggressive. Pseudocorynactis are known to catch unwary fish and eat them. For this reason we do not recommend keeping them unless you can provide a species-specific aquarium. These Orange Ball Corallimorphs put on a spectacular feeding display and readily accept all types of food. In particular they like to eat large silversides and krill.

Our Pseudocorynactis we have for sale online all originated from a single specimen we acquired years ago that grew to the size of a large pizza!
